Lovely baronial style castle in the modern tradition featuring a large open fire in the reception. Celebrated mum's 90th birthday here this month. Helpful staff and lovely meal. More famous for weddings I suspect.

Stayed in the deluxe room which was spotless.Dinner in the restaurant is a must.Breakfast excellent.Staff excellent and very attentive. Will definitely be back.

Stayed overnight on Friday 4th January 2019 in room 105. the room was great and bathroom. Had meal in restaurant I had soup to start followed by the Venison both were nice. The only slight niggle I had was....... There was no bar !!! Myself and wife did find this a bit strange, If you did want a couple of drinks you had to go to the restaurant / grill / conservatory.Breakfast was great good choice
