If you are not counting calories, go visit the best bakery in the district! Obviously it's takeaway is the shop part, but there are 7 tables I think, so if you want to sit in for any hot item that's for sale, or a more substantial feed, then you can. It is cafe food, so don't be precious, but if you want to have it, then it is reasonable and served by smashing staff. A previous review mentioned greasy items, and unfortunately i have experienced this, but I now go for the sweet stuff and am rarely disappointed! I woukd suggest you try it and you will find something you like, just don't go if you are on a diet.....
I love Alex shop cakes are amazing with a massive selection but today I got a big breakfast and wasn't impressed everything apart from the fried egg and beans was cooked in the deep fat frier when I got home it went in the bin after I attempted to eat the potato scone absolutely disgusting sausage was rock hard bacon also and there was enough grease in the dish to refry another egg let down today
